Give what you can. Know that it matters. Be part of the shield.
Give what you can. Know that it matters. Be part of the shield.
At the Halo Shield Foundation, every team member begins with a shared distinction: they are honorably discharged veterans of the United States Armed Forces, committed to continuing their service through community protection.
To ensure the highest standards of integrity and readiness, we partner with trusted third-party agencies to thoroughly vet each candidate. This process includes:
• Verification of honorable discharge through a validated DD-214
• A comprehensive review of the candidate’s full service record
• Evaluation of character, conduct, and suitability for school-based environments
Only those who meet our rigorous criteria—both in service and in spirit—are selected to represent Halo Shield Foundation in our mission to safeguard and uplift scholastic communities.
At the Halo Shield Foundation, we believe that safety begins with connection. Before any veteran is placed within a scholastic environment, we facilitate a series of structured meetings between the candidate, the prospective institution, local law enforcement, and community stakeholders.
These sessions are designed to:
• Foster mutual understanding and comfort
• Establish a cohesive working relationship
• Align expectations around oversight, communication, and daily presence
Our primary focus is to provide consistent peace of mind for students, faculty, and families. That’s why we prioritize transparency—ensuring that every veteran, institution, and law enforcement partner operates with shared clarity and trust.
This collaborative approach creates a safe, harmonious environment where veterans can serve not only as protectors, but as respected members of the school community.
